Wheelset

Zipp 303 SW is the new go-to wheelset for all roads ahead, with SRAM AXS-connected in-wheel tyre pressure monitoring. Lightweight yet strong and resilient, 303 SW delivers aerodynamic performance and superior speed, no matter the surface or terrain. Paired with a Pirelli P-Zero Race tyre designed to deliver high-performance results. Puncture-resistant without impacting weight and able to maintain grip in wet or dry conditions, this is the tyre of choice for the pro peloton.

Handlebars

Engineered exclusively for our fastest-ever aero bike, the ULTRA-AERO bars redefine aerodynamic integration with a patent-pending, next-generation design. At the heart of this innovation is a groundbreaking wake-generating concept that disrupts airflow, creating a controlled wake for the rider’s legs to sit within while strategically manipulating vortexes to enhance overall aerodynamics. The aggressive, drag-defying anatomic wing top section reinforces the bar’s aero dominance, cutting through the air with precision. But speed isn’t the only priority—comfort is integral to the design. The flat-top section offers a secure and relaxed hand position for climbing, while the ergonomically optimized drops naturally conform to the rider’s palm. With a textured finish that eliminates the need for bar tape, every detail is fine-tuned for performance and control.

Saddle

The ULTRA-AERO seat post features a truncated aerofoil profile that is aerodynamically optimised to reduce drag in the high-speed airflow disturbed by the rider's leg. A composite shaft absorbs road shocks for vibration-smoothing ride quality, further enhanced by a Selle Italia SLR Boost 3D Kit Carbonio Superflow saddle, featuring a 3D-printed surface designed to maximise comfort and performance and a superflow cut-out for increased flexibility and airflow

Frequently Asked Questions

If you're between sizes, we usually recommend going smaller. It's easier to tweak the fit with a longer stem or more seat post, while a bigger frame gives you less room to adjust.
Complete build weights based on a medium frame size: - Sport build: 8.25 kg - Enthusiast build: 8.20 kg - Hero: 7.8 kg Frame only (medium): 1200 g.
Both use a bespoke blend of T1000 and T800 carbon fibres, but the SL R features more T1000 in its layup. This reduces weight slightly while maintaining the same stiffness, strength, and durability.
We offer a lifetime warranty on all Ribble frames and forks for the original purchaser. This covers any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship so you can ride with complete confidence. The standard manufacturer's warranty covers all other components.
Not in the traditional sense. The aggressive aero profile of the bars prevents compatibility with standard extension models. Instead, we’ve developed the ULTRA-AERO Extensions — exclusive to the ULTRA-AERO SL R. These carbon extensions bolt neatly into the underside of the handlebars using the mounting points usually reserved for an out-front computer. Riders who still want to run a cycle or GPS computer can simply attach it directly to the extensions.
The ULTRA-AERO SL R uses a 68 mm BSA threaded bottom bracket shell, allowing for ease of maintenance and enhanced reliability.
The upper and lower bearings are P16 x 40 x 52 x 7 mm 45 x 45° and ACB 40 x 51.8 x 8 mm 45 x 45°, respectively.
The ULTRA-AERO SL R frameset is approved for use in UCI-sanctioned events. To comply with regulations, the supplied front fork disc brake adaptor must be swapped for the UCI-approved version included with the bike. Failure to make this change may result in disqualification when competing under UCI rules.
Yes. Combined with the frameset, the ULTRA-AERO carbon integrated handlebars cleverly conceal all the cables, preserving the Ultra's super-sleek lines for maximum drag savings.
The frame is optimised around 28 mm tyres and can fit up to 32 mm, depending on the tread profile and manufacturer.
The ULTRA-AERO SL R features two bottle cage mounts, with one on the seat tube and one on the downtube. Both are positioned to work seamlessly with Ribble aero bottle cages for optimal aerodynamic performance.
The frame requires M12 x 125 mm x 1.5 and M12 x 173 mm x1.5 front and rear thru-axles.
No. As a speed-focused aero bike, the frame doesn’t feature integrated mudguard mounts.
We recommend a maximum system weight of 120 kg (bike, rider & luggage).
Yes. The extensions bolt into the underside of the handlebars via the mounting points usually used for an out-front computer mount. A computer or GPS unit can then be mounted to the extensions.
Yes. While the aero profile can limit compatibility, the bars are designed to work with standard out-front computer mounts, which fit neatly underneath.
No. Pedals aren’t included as riders use different systems. You can, however, choose from a range of best-selling pedals when configuring your bike.
