Description
From daily commutes to gravel rides and weekend miles, the CGR AL SPORTFIT is built to handle it all with confidence. Its upright flat-bar position keeps you comfortable and in control, while the lightweight aluminium frame and wide tyres smooth out rough roads and mixed terrain. SRAM Apex XPLR AXS wireless gearing delivers simple, precise shifting with a wide range for climbs and fast flats alike, paired with reliable DT Swiss wheels and versatile Schwalbe tyres to create a true go-anywhere bike.
Frameset
Built from upgraded 7005-series aluminium, the CGR AL frameset is lighter, tougher and ready for everyday riding. It’s designed to feel fast and efficient on the road, while still offering the strength and durability you need for rougher routes. Internal cable routing keeps everything clean and out of the way, giving you a tidy setup that’s easy to live with. A stiff, well-balanced frame helps you put power down smoothly while keeping handling stable and predictable, so the bike feels just as confident on fast roads as it does on mixed terrain routes.
Groupset
Apex XPLR AXS is built for riders who want one setup that can handle anything from gravel adventures to everyday miles. The simple 1×12 gearing gives you plenty of range, while wireless shifting stays smooth and consistent when the surface turns rough. Braking feels calm and controlled, and the drivetrain remains quiet even when the ride gets bumpy. You can check battery life and fine-tune settings from your phone, but once it’s set up, it fades into the background so you can simply focus on the ride.
Wheelset
Built tough with a wide rim profile, the DT Swiss G 1800 Spline wheels offer solid handling and comfort on everything from loose gravel to smooth tarmac. Paired with 40mm Schwalbe G-One tyres, it's a setup that’s just as ready for back-lane exploring as it is for fast road miles.
Handlebars
Flat bars put you in a relaxed, upright position for better visibility and confident control across varied terrain. Ergonomic grips enhance long-ride comfort, while the lightweight Ribble alloy stem ensures responsive, stable handling on back lanes, gravel and everything in between.
Saddle
The integrated seat clamp works with our D-shaped alloy seatpost and Selle Italia Model X saddle to take the sting out of rough surfaces. Together they smooth out trail buzz and help you stay comfortable and settled when the miles start to add up.
