When attached to any X35+ equipped Ribble e-bike, the MAHLE SP1 range extender supplements the main battery, boosting the total battery capacity to a whopping 456Wh. This equates to an extra 70% of range, allowing you to extend your rides for longer and travel further in search of adventure.

The extender works in two ways. First, when connected to the e-bike system, the range extender provides the first two amps of power, meaning the main battery is discharged much more slowly. Second, it acts like a power bank and will actually charge the main battery when demand is at its lowest, e.g., when descending or above the 25km threshold, when all assistance ceases.
